for The Secret Museum, The Secret Gallery and The Secret Guide: Paris

This policy covers The Secret Museum, The Secret Gallery and The Secret Guide: Paris, ANTHARIA's applications for smart glasses. It is not the privacy policy of the antharia.es website.

This policy describes how we process your data when you use The Secret Museum, The Secret Gallery or The Secret Guide: Paris (each of them, the "application"), ANTHARIA's augmented-reality applications for smart glasses. The Secret Museum lets you view paintings in your own space and talk with the artists who made them. The Secret Gallery lets you walk around sculptures in your own space and ask a guide about them. The Secret Guide: Paris places a model of the city on your table and lets you listen to the stories of its monuments and ask a guide about them.

The three applications work the same way and process your data in the same way. Everything below applies to whichever of them you are using.

1. Data controller

The Greenia Brand, S.L. (trading as ANTHARIA), a Spanish company registered with the Madrid Companies Register (Registro Mercantil de Madrid), Tax ID B44607063.

2. What data we process and why

• Voice. The microphone is active only while you hold down the talk control. The audio is sent to our speech-recognition provider for the sole purpose of transcribing your question and is not retained once transcribed.
• Questions. The text of your question is sent to our artificial-intelligence providers to generate the character's reply (text and voice). We retain questions in pseudonymised form — only the text and the date, with no time of day and no identifier linking them to you — for a limited period, in order to improve the experience's content.
• Account and usage. When you use the application, a technical user identifier is generated, together with your credit balance and a record of the questions consumed. This data is necessary to provide the service and manage your balance.
• Purchases. Payments are handled by Google Play. We do not receive or store your card or payment details; we only receive a technical purchase receipt from Google in order to add the credits to your account.
• Camera and spatial sensors. The device's augmented-reality system uses the camera and sensors to anchor content in your space and detect your hands. This processing takes place entirely on the device: the application does not receive, store or transmit images of your surroundings.
• Reported answers. If you use the report control to flag an answer given by the guide or character, the question and the answer concerned are sent to us, with the date, so that we can review them.
• Offline use. The narrated content of The Secret Guide: Paris (the stories of each monument) is stored inside the application and plays without any connection. While you only listen, no data leaves the device. Your language preference is stored on the device only.

The application contains no advertising, does not sell or share your data for commercial purposes, and does not build profiles about you.

3. Legal basis

We process your data to perform the contract under which you use the application (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to comply with legal obligations regarding tax and invoicing (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) and, in the case of the pseudonymised corpus of questions, on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the experience (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Recipients

To provide the service we use technology providers acting as data processors: speech-recognition, language-generation, voice-synthesis and infrastructure-hosting services, as well as Google Play as the distribution and payment platform. Some of these providers are established in the United States; transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for under the GDPR (the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).

5. Retention

Your account data is kept for as long as you use the application. Purchase records are kept for the periods required by tax law. The pseudonymised corpus of questions is kept for a limited period and then deleted. If you request the deletion of your account, your identifying data is erased; any financial records we are legally required to keep are unlinked from your identity.

6. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hola@antharia.es. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es) or with your local supervisory authority.

7. Minors

The application is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly process data of children under that age.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the updated version at this same address, indicating the date of the latest revision.
